Jeremiah 46:16-18

¹⁶ They have repeatedly ^(A)stumbled;
Indeed, they have fallen, one against another.
Then they said, ‘Get up, and ^(B)let’s go back
To our own people and our native land,
Away from the ^[a](C)sword of the oppressor!’
^17 [b]They shouted there, ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is nothing but ^(D)a big noise;
He has let the appointed time pass by!’
¹⁸ As I live,” declares the ^(E)King,
Whose name is the Lord of armies,
“One certainly shall come who is like ^(F)Tabor among the mountains,
Or like ^(G)Carmel by the sea.
